oh gosh, I think it may go back to the 2600, combat or golf or something like
that...I sorta forget though, I didn't play the 2600 back when it came out, we
just had an old one lying around for years, it could have been something from
the NES I suppose...too long ago to remember clearly...
I'm actually playing that game right now...well, when school is not pressing
upon me :-P...I really love the soundtrack, but I need to pick up a copy of the
OST sometime...I wonder if it's still in print, PM me if anybody knows where you
can pick up a copy! Thanks, good topic!
I'm gonna have to go with the opener from CT, I still love that game to this
day...I should play it again...for the ummm...I don't know...probably getting
close to the twentieth time or so, maybe more...gosh, I can't believe I've
beaten one game that many times :-P
Ha, I usually listen to anime music when I'm down just because I'm down and it
fits the mood so well :-P Like listening to some of the low key tracks from
Bebop OST 3 "Blue". But something peppy from Chobits or FLCL could
probably pick me up if I wanted, maybe "Let me be with you" or
"Ride on Shooting Star".
lol, I could easily say that in both categories...I just like anything that's
good, whatever the genre. But I tend to listen to mostly soundtracks, remixes
and disneyland music (yes, the theme park...I know it's strange, but I'm
actually not the only one...there are a number of us that they haven' t gotten
straight jackets on yet...hehe). With movies, I think I can always go for a good
comedy, but anything really :-)
*gasp* you mean there are people that don't know what MT is? My gosh,
ugh...that's just horrible, that's wrong, that's that's that's halfway to
demonic! *calms* lol, yeah, you actually should definitely check it out
sometime, it'll get you into webcomics like nothing else. If anyone can beat
reading through the entire archieve in three days then you have my respect (I
actually haven't done that, but a friend of mine has and I was blown away...)
enough ranting. I know what MT is *waves hand wildly*
Pirates of the Caribbean float through...lol, no one but me even knows what that
is probably...nope doesn't have a thing to do with the movie, try again, haha,
if you actually know what it is the send me a PM ;-) haha, not that anyone
actually reads this...
I read a chapter of it...most interesting...kinda strange, as a manga, fairly
cool, real life application, rather spooky ;-) I'm glad it's just a story :-P
Probably wouldn't be a good idea for me...I usually skip a lot of the reading
they assign and get my information from the lecture :-P Missing one would leave
me high and dry come test time...
Not sure about CN continuing the series, but I really don't care for the station
when it comes to anime...too sketchy, stick with G4 if you get that. As to Rave
though, I've been reading the manga for awhile and if you like the anime, just
pick up in the manga instead, it's pretty good.
I haven't seen it yet, but I'm thinking I may sometime soon. Don't know what it
is, but I somehow think that the "girls w/ guns" genre is rather cool.
It started for me with Noir (great series...although the ending was a little
bleh) now the addiction has begun, ph34r the g w/ g :-P
I usually go the lazy route when it comes to games and take the english
voiceovers. Sometimes if they are really horrible I will contemplate turning
them off for something less distracting, but for the most part they are fine.
As to anime though...well, I won't get into that here...
I'm looking for some good stations to listen to online. Any recommendations? I
usually go for anime with something like Armitage's Dimension or Keiichi.net
(more so the former), but I could go for some video game stations as well. What
does everyone else listen to (aside from their own music on the computer of
course...)?
I think they can be intertwined, but only in some cases. Taking the example of
gamers, I would think that those that play mostly sports and action games (no
offence meant to anyone that does play these games!! They're great!!) usually
isn't as interested in anime. While those that play games more like RPG or
maybe even adventure, would be more likely to take that affinity for gaming into
the anime realm. My logic is that the later types of games are more based on
story, without that element you don't have a good game (at least in most cases)
so it shows that story is of importance to those type of gamers. Anime can
deliver those sorts of stories as well so they like anime as well...This is just
what I've seen in my own experience at least...Good question.
Know of any good ones for the folks out there was devices running the Palm
OS?
If you haven't heard of it already, I heartily recommend Space Trader: http://www.cs.unimaas.nl/p.spronck/picoverse/spacetrader/
It's awesome and quite addicting...I must confess that I played the game over
modern day console games when I first got it since I liked it so much, haha
It was an interesting game, I love Chrono Trigger, so by default I love Chrono
Cross. CT is by far better in my mind though. It's just that the story of
Cross was a little...more odd...not in a bad way or anything, I did like it, it
was just odd :-P Now the music...wow, that was amazing...
Since I was passionate about it? Maybe only thirteen or so. But I first got
exposed to/found that I liked anime at around 7 or 8. Brother went to a comic
convention and they were showing Akira. To eight year old me, that was beyond
awesome...actually, I still Find Akira awesome to this day :-P haha
This is an awesome site that I have just decided to join so I thought I should
introduce myself! Name 's Josh, or you can call me Hosoji if you like. I'm a
huge Manga fan and love anime as well (I just find that manga is a little more
forgiving on my poor light wallet ^_^). The obsession probably stems from my
gaming genes passed down by my brother, lol, and from some of our friends that
introduced us to many Japanese trends, many thanks friends! This is so cool,
one website that combines all my passions! Glad to be here and glad to meet you
all :-)
Yeah, quite a bit. Awhile ago a friend of mine and myself would get together
and play nearly everyday...good times...I think it's not too old yet, still
classic...now if Starcraft 2 were to come out...then I may have to put the
legend behind me and make way for the future ;-)

Not in any order...
Prince of Tennis
Yotsuba&!
Chrono Crusade
Blade of the Immortals

Silence of the Lambs...creepy film...or more creepy that it is based on a true story :-P *shivers*

The simpler question is what do I do when I'm not on the computer...:-P I use it for school, IM, movies/anime, webcomics, music, more school...heh
